Do I need a European entity to sell in Europe?
Not necessarily. You can sell on Amazon EU and most platforms as a US entity. However, you will need VAT registration (and in some cases fiscal representation) for each country you sell into. We help you understand the requirements and connect you with the right advisors.
What's the timeline to launch in Europe?
With compliance handled, marketplace launch typically takes 4-6 weeks. If VAT registration is needed, add 4-8 weeks depending on the country. We can begin content preparation while compliance is in progress.
Should I start with Amazon EU or Bol.com?
It depends on your product category and target market. For broad European reach, Amazon EU (particularly Germany and UK) is usually the starting point. If the Netherlands/Belgium is a priority, Bol.com is essential. Many brands do both.
How does fulfillment work?
Options include: Amazon FBA (send inventory to Amazon's EU warehouses), third-party logistics (3PL) partners we work with, or your own EU distribution. We help you design the right strategy based on your volume and product type.
What's GPSR and why should I care?
The General Product Safety Regulation is new EU legislation requiring all products sold in the EU to have an EU-based responsible person. It affects most consumer products. We help you understand and comply with the requirements.
