Ember’s temperature-control products had potential on Bol.com — the dominant marketplace in the Netherlands and Belgium — but low organic visibility and limited advertising reach held back growth. The existing listings were unoptimized, and the brand wasn’t capturing the Benelux market opportunity.

We rebuilt the product listings for Bol.com’s search algorithm and Dutch consumer expectations:

- Full localization in Dutch for the Netherlands
- French localization for Belgium’s Wallonia region
- Content written for Dutch buying preferences, not just translated from English
Advertising Optimization
We restructured the advertising approach to maximize efficiency:

- +700% increase in organic product visits — From under 300 to over 2,500 weekly visits
- +201% improvement in conversion rate — From 1.88% to 5.67%
Belgium:
- +188% improvement in conversion rate — From near 0% to 1.88%
- Successful bilingual presence reaching both Dutch and French-speaking regions
Advertising Performance:
- Advertising CVR reached 3.17% by Q4 end — Up from 2.52% baseline
